WCC will celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month with a collection of art titled "68 Voices / 68 Hearts" to be displayed on campus from Oct. 2–13. WCC will begin offering an Educator Preparation Program (EPP) in the spring of 2024 to support teachers obtaining their residency license. Emily Byrd has been selected as the new executive director of the Foundation of WCC. The Wayne County Reentry Council will hold a reentry simulation at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5 at the Goldsboro Event Center.
